Two charged with attempted murder in Danville

Two people face attempted murder charges after a confrontation Sunday in Danville, authorities said.

Shawn L. Brodeur, 32, and Anne N. Brodeur, 31, were arrested Sunday after an alleged beating and shooting at 1008 Plainview Drive, according to a Danville Police press release.

They are accused of assaulting Chaz Young, the boyfriend of Shawn Brodeur’s sister. They struck him with a baseball bat and Shawn Brodeur fired a round inside the residence, according to police.

Young was treated at the scene by paramedics, and told police he was going to the hospital on his own, according to police.
