<description>"A former Beaumont Junior High School science teacher pleaded not guilty Friday to sodomy and rape charges stemming from allegations by two students in the late 1970s. Hubbard, who now lives in Texas, was arrested in July 2007 in Pennsylvania as Maner testified in a civil trial in Lexington against the Fayette County school board. Maner, who accused the school board of ignoring a pattern of alleged sexual abuse against her by several school board employees, won a $3.9 million verdict. An appeal by the board is pending." This case should be interesting to see what happens, which way the boat floats? Who gets convicted of what? Or who is found innocent of what? How did she win a settlement before she even had him convicted? Where was he in all of that?</description>
