Police: Mask gives away lost robbers

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Police say two men who stopped to ask a police officer for directions were arrested for allegedly robbing a gas station less than two hours earlier.
Lavarr A. Milton, 21, and Guy O. Walker, 18, both of Louisville, were charged Friday with the early morning robbery of a Circle K gas station in Louisville, said Alicia Smiley, spokeswoman for Louisville Metro Police.
Smiley said the men stopped to ask a police officer for directions when “he noticed a mask in the back seat and became suspicious.”
Both men were being held Friday at Louisville Metro Corrections on charges of first-degree robbery and trespassing, police said.
