So Larry went to court for his arraignment. Wonder how he pled and when he go back to court to see what kind of justice will be done for the “accidental” death of his wife.
I read all these comments, still it comes down to the fact that he was driving drunk, speeding and did not even take into consideration their lifes or anyone elses on the highway. He needs to be punished for this crime, there is no two ways about this. If he loved his wife as much as has been proclaimed here, why would he not let her drive if he was so drunk? Have you wondered about that???

I think you should stop and think that Angela’s family is not the ones who will be doing anything to Larry….for those of you who do not know how the system works….it is the Commonwealth of KY that will put Larry on trial for his wife’s death….regardless of how her parent’s feel. Sure all families are devastated over this senseless, tragic death….but Larry does need to pay for his crime….just so other drunk drivers won’t think they can get by with the same thing….maybe this will give Larry time to get his life free of alcohol and time to get right with God. I feel sorry for his 7 year old son…but what about Angela’s parents, they do not have their daughter anymore to love and spend time with her….so who really gains anything from this….NO ONE !!!

It was obvious that Larry loved his wife. However, if he loved her so much he should not have put her life and everyone elses on the road that night in danger. What if they had hit an innocent person on the road that night? A person that had not been drinking. Had she lived through that accident, then I would feel they both would need to be charged. I do not feel that he is a monster. He’s a nice person as was she. I do feel that his punishment needs to fit his crime. Yes, he’s going to punish himself for the rest of his life, but we can’t let him walk away from this. What would that say to all of the other drunk drivers out there? If you kill someone you love then you shouldn’t be punished because you feel bad enough already? This was a senseless death that could have been avoided. Let’s hope this is a wake up call for others not to get into a car with someone drinking and most importantly, DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE!!! I can only hope that all of his bowling buddies learn from this tragic mistake. My sympathies go out to both families.

Larry is a great guy and yes we lost someone wonderful and yes they both made the wrong move and He will live with this for the rest of his life…..Larry and Angel were so in love they had the up most respect for each other….When he spoke to us he still signed to her to let her know what he was saying…..They always had a smile on their face and was always having a good time…..I am sorry Larry is going threw this and I am missing Angel more than ever…..Please keep this family in your prayers and don’t judge a book by the cover….

Looks to me like people ONCE AGAIN are judging a book by its cover.I didnt know Angela or Larry but after reading everyones comments I had to respond.Yes it sounds like he took a very special person from a very special little boy and a world of loving family and friends but at the same time she choose to get in that car knowing they both had been drinking.Until you have incountered this type sitution you should never point a finger.Her family has every right to be upset and angery this monster as they see him took there precious daughter.Would she really want her family to turn there backs on him especially now. If alochol wasnt a factor EVERYONE would have a totally different opinion.Yes he should spend time behind bars but throw away the keys now thats a little harsh dont you think.Everyone makes stupid decissions everyday but they still deserve a second chance at life.Hopefully this will wake Larry up and open his eyes its just a shame that it takes something like this to get peoples attention,and what about his family dont you think they are suffering too, They are greeving for both a son and a daughter in law. Think about it how do you think you would feel if people were making you child out to be a monster,just remember she did choose to get in that car.My thoughts and prayers are with both families.

ANGELA WAS A VERY SWEET PERSON AND YES SHE MADE A DECISION TO GET INTO A VEHICLE WHETHER SHE WAS A PASSENGER OR NOT…YES LARRY MADE A DECISION TO DRINK AND DRIVE….AND YES AN ACCIDENT OCCURRED THAT TOOK ANGELA’S LIFE….THAT DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT THE TWO OF THEM WERE VERY MUCH IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER….LARRY HAS BEEN TORN TO SHREDS OVER THIS AND HE IS GOING TO HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE FACT THAT HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS WIFE’S DEATH….LARRY IS PUNISHING HIMSELF EVERY DAY…WHAT MORE SHOULD BE DONE…AND CAN THE JUSTICE SYSTEM PUNISH HIM WORSE THAN HE IS PUNISHING HIMSELF? PROBABLY NOT….IN THIS SORT OF CASE WHAT COULD BE WORSE THAN WAKING UP EVERY DAY AND KNOWING WHAT HE HAS DONE…KNOWING THAT THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE WILL NEVER BE THERE AGAIN…KNOWING EACH DAY IS GOING TO BE A LONELY, LONG AND DARK DAY….WHAT MORE CAN BE DONE? YES MOST PEOPLE THINK THAT LOCKING HIM UP AND THROWING AWAY THE KEY IS THE ANSWER….ASK YOURSELVES………WHAT WOULD EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU DO IF THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE IS GONE BECAUSE OF A HORRIBLE ACCIDENT THAT WAS YOUR FAULT? AND THEN ASK YOURSELVES IF LOCKING YOU UP AND THROWING AWAY THE KEY IS GOING TO BE MORE PUNISHMENT THAN WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO PUT YOURSELF THROUGH…..LARRY HAS A 7 YEAR OLD SON THAT LOVES HIS DADDY VERY MUCH….IS IT FAIR TO PUNISH HIM ALSO? to everyone that blames larry…….if larry would have died in that crash would you have morned his death as well?????? what if she was the one driving and he had died, would you turn away from her and want her to “rot in jail”??? they BOTH chose to get in that truck after they BOTH had drinks…..a grown person has the has the choice, and unfortunitly they both made the wrong choice, and it cost her life, now he has to live with this. he who has not sinned cast the first stone!!!! larry is a good father, and from what i saw her made Angela very happy….if she wasnt a willing particapant you could call him a “MONSTER” but she was…..larry loved her whole heartedly and she love him, they “BOTH” just made a wrong choice with irreversable consiquences….. she will not be forgotten!!! Dear GOD, please take care of this young soal that is on her way home, and the man that loved her that is now lost in this world with out her……help them both find there way..amen

I’m sorry there are so many negative people out there that want to destroy someone even further that loved his wife dearly. He will suffer for the rest of his life with guilt and there is no need to add insult to injury. They both loved each other and did the same things. He isn’t to blame anymore that she is………. That doesn’t make it any better. Why place the blame now? They were both wonderful people and he loved her to the fullest extent. He made many accommodations for the woman he loved. He always communicated with her what he was speaking to the rest of us. God bless and keep all the family through this difficult time.

I AM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR LOSS, BUT AS A MOTHER I WOULD NOT WANT TO LOOSE A CHILD IN ANY WAY EXPECIALLY LIKE THIS.
BUT I KNOW MY CHILD LOVES HIS WIFE AND IN MY HEART I WOULD KNOW THAT MY CHILD WOULD NEVER WANT HIS FAMILY TO TREAT HIS WIFE THE WAY THIS HUSBAND IS BEING TREATED BY HER FAMILY. YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT SHE GOT IN THE CAR WITH HIM AND AS WE ALL KNOW NOW THAT WAS A REALLY BAD DECISION!
“DO YOU REALLY THINK YOUR DAUGHTER WOULD WANT HER PARENTS TO MISTREAT HER HUSBAND” AS PER MY SPACE: THE MAN THAT MADE HER VERY HAPPY.
I WILL PRAY THAT GOD WILL HELP HEAL THE WOUNDS CREATED BY THIS DISASTER AND MEND THE ANGER TOWARDS HER HUSBAND.

yes she was a wonderful person but, she was also drinking…They are both guilty for the tragidy….and yes the 7 year old has lost a wonderful step mother, but he is also losing his dad…it may be larry’s fault that she died but it still doesnt change the fact that he was head over heels in love with her..my heart goes out to every one that has lost her………can someone tell us….REALLY what is his son supposed to do without both of them? ya he has his mother but isnt a child supposed to have both his parents???? now he is going to have to be with out his dad of whom he loves also…
