Lexington man sentenced to 69 years in prison

A Lexington man was sentenced to 69 years in prison for robbing three Georgetown gas stations last year.

Isaiah Lamar Robinson, 21, was ordered to pay $19,000 in restitution to the victims of the robberies in a sentencing hearing in U.S. District Court in Lexington.

Robinson has admitted that he robbed the Shell gas station on East Main Street on Nov. 27; the Showalter Shell station on South Broadway on Dec. 17; and the Mary Lynn Drive Shell station on Dec. 25.

Robinson has also admitted he shot a clerk in the hand during the East Main Street robbery, and he shot a clerk in the leg at the Mary Lynn Drive station.

Robinson was assisted by four other Lexington men. They pleaded guilty in April and had already been sentenced.

    Good Ridance…He should be shot where he shot the innocent workers at the gas station
