Lexington police have obtained an arrest warrant for a man accused of robbing a Cash Advance store on Versailles Road last week.
The suspect has been identified as Edward J. Jacobsen, 61, of Lexington. Police obtained on Monday an arrest warrant, charging Jacobsen with first-degree robbery.
Police say Jacobsen entered the store about 10:30 a.m. Sept. 2, showed a black handgun and demanded cash from a female employee. The employee complied and was told to lie on the floor. She was not injured.
