I can say this I use to let him sit in my lap and drive that is how he learned to drive and he saved our lives one time when I fell asleep and he steered the car off the interstate for me. That was before they had all the seat belt laws, he was about 12 then, he was 15 by the time they got us for it and he wasn't in my lap driving he was driving and not really doing anything wrong it was just New Years day and they happened to see us and they put me on probation for a year for it and he had to get his license which he did when he turned 16, he has had some tickets for speeding, but he has not had an accident that has been his fault as I know of, I trust his driving in any kind of weather conditions, he is in his 30's now. I have to knock on wood now that he doesn't get in an accident, and I think he has slowed down some since then too.
